I was furious last night reading about the supposed best physician who attended H.M at her last birth ( around no 11) .She wrote to the King to say she'd lost the feeling in one arm ,sight in one eye ,all her joints hurt and she was bent in a loop ..this "great" man said it was hysteria ( no wonder the root of the word). Silly woman making all that fuss what with the "excellent" pain-care and all. Just so typical a man , luckily The King seemed more sympathetic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31737875.post-1156542630559199932006-08-25T14:50:00.000-07:002006-08-25T14:50:00.000-07:00Mmmm, I can see the link - Henrietta Maria, Marie ...Mmmm, I can see the link - Henrietta Maria, Marie Antoinette - they have sort of the same ring, don't they?

You obviously have a good Oxfam. My Gawd, the things you find in Oxford thrift shops...
Jo
celticmemoryyarns.blogspot.comJo at Celtic Memory Yarnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00463172440388610300noreply@blogger.com
