I can't be the only one who has a fascination...

with an historical figure .If you do tell me who and why .Do you have things you'd ask them ? I only wish there was more footage of day to day events during The Kennedy administration.

I often go off into imaginary conversations with famous figures of the past. Asking them exactly why they did that, or how they really felt about something. Every book you read about someone famous has its own approach, its own angle. You never get the real person.

Also I would like to go back to particular times, to see EXACTLY what it was like. The noises, the smells, the way clothes looked, the way people did things.

Are you getting on with building that time machine or are you still knitting? Come on, come on, 'it little profits that an idle blogger/ Matched with an equal one, should sit and dream...'

I might not go with the smells ! I'd love to go to a few founding Quaker meetings but not be seen. Holly would go anywhere there was good schmutter ! My Great-Uncle grew up in the East-end of London and picked up lots of Hebrew slang !
