Sari-ribbons.

Just got a little parcel ..the orange/magenta one was half price and the navy/purples is new. I love this stuff but it would be too harsh for a whole garment. Posted by Picasa

I fell for this Sari Ribbon too and bought several colourways - only to discover that I wasn't quite sure how to use it. I agree that it would be better used sparingly in something rather than on its own. Have you noticed how different yarns can look in the skein and when knitted up?

It's really pretty - I'm like you and wouldn't use it on a whole garment, but think it would make a beautiful trim for a cardi or sweater

Make great scourers though !

What do you think you will knit with it? I'm curious now!

It's so beautiful - have you decided what you're going to do with it all?

I've added some of the orange one to my autumn themed shawl and the blues is for a sea-themed shawl .

Well fellow knitters if you like this wait until you see "Thalia" her new ribbon .It is pretty and soft ! I'll scan some in later . I added one to the start of my new shawl yesterday .Which is really my own yarns used in a "Perugino" thrwo ( Colinette).
